How to Create a Connection with your Autistic Grandchild and Support their Parents
Welcome! How exciting! Here we are at the beginning of our journey together. As you go through this training, we will be exploring what autism is, how it affects the child who has it, and the impact living with autism has on the family, especially the parents of the child on the spectrum. You can play a pivotal role in improving the life of your son or daughter and their family if you are willing to educate yourself and provide the support that is right for your family. This is not a one size fits all situation. Every family, personality and child on the spectrum is different. This program is a guide to help you create a helpful mindset and identify the support that is right for you and your family.
This training is divided into 6 modules.
